If you follow us on Twitter or Facebook, then you already know we are constantly at it, working our way into the media in whatever form or fashion we can! Now we are cracking onto the national scene, step by step!

Consignment Chic is in the National Media AGAIN!

We made AOL’s Small Business online Thursday with this article about our experience in our Collage stores with Groupon.  They got the Consignment Chic link in there, even though they didn’t say much else, but we are surprised they did that.  Well over a million folks have read the article, so we are tickled with that.

Entrepreneur Magazine

Last week, I also did an interview with Entrepreneur MAGAZINE that will come out in February and will be IN PRINT AND ONLINE on Entrepreneur.com!!  This is another Groupon article and I BEGGED for them to include Consignment Chic!! That’s why I’m doing all this – to promote our industry and to bring consignment shopping into the mainstream! So be on the lookout in February for the magazine.

Associated Press

This week, we’ve done two other NATIONAL articles to be on the lookout for and both are HUGE! I did an interview last Thursday with the Associated Press about hiring older workers right now amidst a shortage of teen workers.  The reporter thinks it will hit THIS WEEK on the AP so it will go out to THOUSANDS of media outlets and could be picked up in DROVES! With media, you never know what they will write, so we’ll see what they say about Consignment Chic….

Can you believe it’s AUGUST?!

The heat index here is over 100 degrees as in much of the rest of the nation, so how do we get shoppers into our stores when it is so miserable outside? BACK-TO-SCHOOL!! Shoppers HAVE to have new things for school and college right now, so let’s jump on the bandwagon and promote consignment and resale shopping as THE SMART SHOPPING ALTERNATIVE!
